Hi, I’m Jay (no relation to Mr. Hope it’s just my nickname), or you can call me cypher if you like. I found BTS in 2014 and fell deep down the rabbit hole with HYYH in 2015. I'm obsessed with their discography and love talking about their music, lyrics, and performances. OT7 all the way!I’m an adult, I swear and might say mildly nsfw things. I occasionally engage in very light-hearted shipping, but it's never serious. I block people who pry into Bangtan’s personal lives, or have solo/ship agendas.Unfortunately I can’t access bsky DMs for complicated, stupid reasons (oppressive government)… if you want to DM me I go by the same @ on tumblr and reddit. I might be slow to respond, but I’ll see your message eventually.I’m neurodivergent and have severe mental health issues, so while I really enjoy talking to people and having discussions, sometimes I need to go slow, or step back. Occasionally I might disappear and come back weeks or months later, please don’t worry, I have a good support system.I’m also very careful who I follow, because I need to keep my timeline super curated to avoid being triggered, or overwhelmed with too much info. If I'm not careful I end up finding it too difficult and just stop coming online. If I don't follow back, it doesn't mean I don't like you/your account! I try to keep political posts to useful information and possibilities for taking action, not just doomscrolling.My bluesky bio says “let’s keep things thoughtful and positive.” What I mean by that is…Thoughtful: I’m willing to be critical of BTS, the company, and ARMY at times. I don’t think we should hold back from uncomfortable issues. Can’t guarantee I’m available for every discussion, but I don’t think we should follow BTS blindly, or pretend ARMY is always sunshine and rainbows.Positive: I have so many good things to say about BTS and ARMY! I’m not here for hate, fanwars, or needless drama. I like to look for positives, and approach issues constructively. It’s always better to work through misunderstandings patiently rather than fighting. This is supposed to be fun!These are my intentions, I’ll do my best 💜
